Adding Buttons to a Form

Buttons can be used to control database functions in this case we will create a button to open a query.

Below are the steps into creating a button on a form. The advantages of these buttons are that if a person needed to navigate to a query, they just need to press the button and it appears.

THE STEPS INVOLVED:


change it to design view

design tab

XXXX

draw the button

choose the catergory and the action

What query would you like the button to run

title the query


As shown above, top right hand corner, there is a button which says DOB, which means date of birth. When you click that button the picture on the right opens up. This is the query of the date of births in my data. HOW COOL!!!
